On December 6th, 2015, thousands of people gathered in Monterey Park, CA, around East LA College to celebrate and process in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe. From performers and dancers, to floats and costumes, it’s an incredibly impressive show of respect and culture for an entire mile-long parade and we were lucky enough to photograph the winning floats, as well as the procession in general
The color, excitement, and overall effort put into the costumes and floats and dances of each of the participants was incredible to witness. So many of the costumes were so intricate, and so many of the participants danced for the entire procession.
These photos were taken for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.
